- Oregon created the requirement for a permit to purchase new firearms in Ballot Measure 114
- This course satisfies the knowledge test requirement of this measure You are still required to take a live fire test to apply for your permit
- If you are interested in getting both a CHL and PTP, consider taking the CHL course.
- The PTP is shorter than the CHL course but can only be used for the PTP application
